Biography

Dr. Luis Andrés Cordero was trained at the Plastic Surgery School of the famous Prof. Ivo Pitanguy in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He collaborated directly with his professor in his private clinic where he served as Resident; and at the Ivo Pitanguy Study Center where he served as scientific advisor and public relations officer.

With over 30 years of experience and over 8,000 procedures performed, Dr. Luis Andrés Cordero has been invited as a professor and speaker to multiple Congresses, Courses, Workshops and Forums in Mexico, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Spain, the United States and Dominican Republic. He has published scientific articles in various Plastic Surgery journals in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

The Dr. Luis Andrés Cordero received the "Price to the Medical by Achievement for a Better Life" award in 2012 and 2013, together with an "Honoris Causa Doctorate", considering him the best medical professional in the category of Cosmetic Surgery awarded by the International Organization for Medical Training and Research (IOCIM).
